This small symmetrical selection is perfectly suited to growing outdoors on patios in the summer and then moving indoors to enjoy through the winter months.
It forms a solitary, rounded rosette of blue-green to olive green leaves with a wide, cream margin. Each leaf is lined with tiny, deep brown spines and tipped with a longer spine of the same color so handle this beauty with care. The imprints left by unfurling new leaves can be seen on the tops of the leaves, just one more thing that makes this plant so fun to watch and grow.
This variety produces offsets that can be separated and grown on to maturity.
There is much contention over the correct species of this variety so we will list as a hybrid.
Agaves typically flower only once every 15-25 years and the main crown dies after blooming.
