Named the 2003 Ivy of the Year by The American Ivy Society. A variegated ivy with sunny yellow leaves edged in dark green, and marbled with vibrant green and soft gray in the center. The colors are brightest under high light and cool temperatures. In the warmer months, the yellow turns a lighter cream color.
'Golden Ingot' is moderately self-branching and is not an invasive type of ivy. It makes an ideal evergreen groundcover, and is also capable of climbing fences and walls. Lovely in combination pots as a trailer.

Ivy is one of the most rewarding plants to grow because it tolerates just about any conditions. This variegated selection should be grown in full sun to partial shade. When sited in 40%-50% shade in field trials, it maintained its bright yellow and green colors.
Make sure the soil is well-drained; do not allow the roots to remain in standing water for any period of time. Once established, water it thoroughly but infrequently, allowing the soil to nearly dry out between waterings. Use fertilizers high in nitrogen to stimulate the production of healthy green foliage.
