Iris 'Lovely Señorita'

Common Name: Tall Bearded Iris

This multiple award winning daylily has a distinctive Latino feel to it and it will spice up any sunny garden with its vibrant, ruffled blossoms.

It is an orange bicolor with upright, saturated tangerine orange standards and deeper coppery red falls with a bright orange beard.  10-15 copper buds line each strong, well-branched scape.  At their fullest, the blossoms measure 6” tall by 4” wide, making them one of the showiest flowers in the garden in early summer.

‘Lovely Señorita’ is a tall, vigorously growing iris that is sure to stand out from the crowd.

No garden would be complete without Tall Bearded Irises. Though they have been grown for decades, new and improved hybrids continue to be developed every year and fabulous color combinations have been achieved. The Tall Beardeds bloom after the Dwarf Irises but before the Japanese and Siberian Irises. They are wonderful accent plants for late spring gardens.
