Huge, rich ruby red leaves display irregular splashes, blocks, and stripes of bright lime green. Each leaf opens with a surprising new pattern of colors, no two are exactly alike. The more sun the plant receives, the redder the foliage becomes (though young plants start out more green).
This large tropical makes a fantastic backdrop for smaller temperennials and is absolutely awesome in large containers.
