Similar in habit to ‘Fulda Glow’, this is a green-leafed selection with bright carmine pink flowers. The colorful blossoms are typically produced from midsummer into early fall.
This plant quickly grows to form a thick patch of small, succulent, deep green, toothed leaves which develop reddish edges during the cool fall months. In milder climates, the foliage is evergreen.
‘Summer Glory’ makes an excellent carefree groundcover for sunny to partially shaded areas of the garden that require low maintenance.
Low, spreading sedums form a solid mat of foliage which is excellent for covering slopes or can be planted as a groundcover in sunny, dry areas. They are extremely drought tolerant and many are evergreen. These are terrific low-maintenance plants that always look their best.
