Teucrium grows best in full sun but it can tolerate part shade. The soil should be kept consistantly moist. Once the plant is well established, however, it is drought tolerant. Shear plants back for a formal look or leave them to grow naturally in informal spaces.
Teucrium is evergreen in areas with mild winters. It should be pruned back to about 4 inches in the spring to encourage fresh new foliage. Divisions may be made in the spring.
