Tall, sturdy stalks of iridescent magenta-purple flowers with a hint of peach and a darker raspberry eye add a bold vertical element to the garden. These spikes arise from a tight rosette of large, glossy, green leaves.
This is one of the most floriferous of all Verbascums. Although the rebloom will be best if plants are deadheaded, this variety will continue to flower even if it is not maintained.
'Summer Sorbet' tends to live a bit longer than other varieties, but it should be treated as a short-lived perennial.

It will bloom well into summer if spent flower stalks are removed. It should be treated as a biennial or short-lived perennial.
